The growing importance of cycling in the European mobility ecosystem

Format:In-person
Location:Conference Hall 5.1
  • Mobility

The relevance and growth potential of the European Bicycle industry. Active mobility is recognized by many countries and cities as an increasingly important solution to urban mobility problems. The EPAC usage is already growing fast in countries with well-developed cycling infrastructure. So developing the whole of Europe to this desirable infrastructure state and doubling cycling in 2030, is one of the ambitious goals of Europe, recently written down in the "European declaration on cycling". This declaration comes with great opportunities for the European bicycle industry ecosystem, but also with some challenges. I will elaborate on these opportunities and challenges.
