Roman Pakholkov

Roman is a founder of Promwad and Bridgio, a hardware community enthusiast, and an entrepreneur. His mission is to create team-based and eco-friendly solutions for a sustainable world while travelling.

He is passionate about business in electronics and is searching for challenges in several domains to address them through the application of advanced technologies and help his future customers bring more efficient solutions to the market faster than other players.

His second passion is travelling, so he came up with the workation format to create innovative sustainable solutions in a team with pros and enthusiasts, expanding our horizons in travel.

Roman is interested in socialising and finding new contacts: he loves to listen to others and share his experience if it is relevant and valuable to his audience.

In his 25-year career, he has worked his way from an engineer to the head and co-owner of international high-tech businesses:

- Founded Promwad Engineering Company (2004), which creates solutions for advanced vehicles and transport, industrial automation, energy management, telecommunications, broadcasting and video streaming. 100+ employees work in Lithuania, Germany, Latvia, Serbia and Poland.

- Founded and partnered with Bridgio (2019), the first hardware accelerator in Lithuania, to help engineering teams transform their potential into successful businesses in the global electronics market.

- Created the Hardware Ecosystem community, a platform for communication and sharing ideas in the electronics industry.

Now, he wants to apply this experience as an entrepreneur by working in teams and transforming challenges into business solutions.
