About

INEGI broadens its R&I activities to include the development of systems and solutions for structural monitoring and non-destructive inspection, both contact and non-contact, for assessing structural condition and supporting predictive maintenance strategies (e.g. condition‑based maintenance, among others).

INEGI’s competencies in structural integrity focus on the evaluation of the structural behaviour of mechanical systems and structures, ranging from numerical simulation tools for static, dynamic, fatigue, and impact analyses to customized experimental validation of the behaviour of materials, components, including extreme environmental conditions, such as those encountered in space applications.
